For some reason I love these sites of Found Photos. This one foundphotos.net has some really great ones. Maybe the guy is just a good curator. I cribbed some from his site for the sharing, which I guess is alright because he cribbed them off servers.

I guess I like the randomness of the pictures. People do some funny shit with their cameras. Some of them are quite good compositionally.

Swine Flu Fever

As the reports of Swine Flu deaths grow, we are left to wonder if this is now actually something to worry about. In the beginning, I thought it was another hyped animal flu, but with 152 deaths in Mexico, now I start to wonder. Of course, so far it seems the deaths have only been in Mexico, which makes you wonder if it’s a question of the flu itself or how it’s being treated there.

Some catchline on a perma-news channel (CNN perhaps) encouraged viewers to weigh in with their opinions about Swine Flu. What does the pro-Swine Flu lobby say?

The New York Times has a picture of monitors in a South Korean airport scanning your body for thermal signs of flu. The information age is here and your body is no longer a temple.
